Again, we celebrated Caroline's 6th birthday a little early this year. Having a December baby was a foreign concept to me and I was warned by EVERYONE about making Caroline's so close to Christmas birthday a separate event. So we really try to make her feel special for her birthday. As always, I think we tend to go a bit overboard, but her birthday definitely never gets forgotten. She has begged me for 2 years (since first going to Samford University to see the Nutcracker Ballet) about having a Nutcracker Birthday Tea Party. So we have been pinning ideas for 2 years, no pressure. This girl had all sorts of ideas. So we decided to make it a crafts and tea party. The girls decorated ballerina paper dolls and made gumdrop necklaces as their crafts. We used my grandmother's Desert Rose china tea cups for the tea, I think she would have been proud. Caroline is blessed with so many sweet and dear friends it was a very special day to celebrate with them. We are so thankful for this little girl who twirls through our house everyday. We are so proud of the way she is growing up and just pray that she continues to love God and love others.
Numbers 6:24-26
"May The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."
Our sweet friend Dr. Supriya drove right in from NC to wish Caroline a Happy Birthday!
Lots of giggles!

Caroline will be taller than me in no time! Loved that Clark finally got his piece of cake! Looks like the party was a huge success! Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but I'll drop in soon and spend more time with you and the kids! We have the whole month sweet friend!
