Clara's Dedication

Sunday, May 8th, 2016 was not only Mother's Day, but also the day we dedicated Clara Elodie at our church.  The verse we chose for Clara:  Ephesians 3:17-19 “I pray that you been rooted and established in love may have the power together with all the Lord’s people to grasp how wide and how long and how deep is the love of Christ.”  Our prayer is that knows how loved she is by us and our Father in heaven.  That she places her faith and confidence in Jesus and will be a light for Him in our world.

Usually Clara is shy and reserved, but she was a ham on stage.  She smiled, laughed and tried to reach for the little boy beside us on stage (Harrison Lollar).  Caroline and Clark struggled to contain their giggles at how expressive she was being on stage.

We were grateful that both sets of grandparents were able to come to celebrate with us.  We even pulled out my grandmother's Desert Rose for brunch.  It was indeed a special day for our sweet baby girl.
