Hale Family Beach Trip

1 week + 10 family members (including 2, 3 year olds) + water + sand=Hale Family Beach Trip

We got to the beach in the early evening and the first thing the kids wanted to do was, of course, see the ocean. I was thrilled to see Caroline walking through the sand this year. Last year she didn't want sand on her feet (at the end of our beach trip).

Reminds me of a song from my youth group days: Have you ever stood at the ocean with the white foam at your feet? Felt the endless thundering motion? Then I'd say you've seen Jesus my Lord. Have you seen Jesus my Lord? He's here in plan view. Take a look open your eyes, he'll show it to you.

Clark is not a fan of any thing on his hands, so sand was a new thing to him. I kept his pacifier in just in case he tried to put his sandy hands in his mouth.

Being buried in the sand...couldn't believe my eyes!_DSC0377_DSC0419_DSC0464_DSC0579So tired. He ended up taking a nap in Papa John's arms.

_DSC0589_DSC0714The next day Caroline had a raw spot on her toe and refused to play in the sand without her foot in a bucket of water. Really? Really? Welcome to the world of three year olds!_DSC0718_DSC0751Clark didn't mind._DSC0775_DSC0913Clark had fallen and bonked his head, so not so happy about things._DSC1052_DSC1098_DSC1239_DSC1292_DSC1334_DSC1402Holding Papa John's hand.halefinalThe whole clan
