July 4th

The American flags are flying high in the neighborhood.  Many of our neighbors have bunting on their porches, too.  Caroline likes the bunting!  We were walking with our neighbors the other evening and Brian asked Caroline if she knew that it was almost America’s birthday, and she said ‘who is America?’  Hopefully we have remedied that!  We had a great family day, a red fish cook-out with our neighbors, and then Josh was off to his business trip.  God Bless America!

These are just some random picture from today for the grandparents:

Clark likes to head but and rest his forehead on you as a sign of affection.  I sometimes feel like I’m raising a baby ram.  Caroline is used to it and actually loves when he lays his head on her.  Below is Caroline’s dancing face:  (she also has a ‘rocker’ face that is equally amusing)

Caroline is such a sweet sister.  She is so loving and patient with Clark 98% of the time.  Love these two.
