Caroline had her first day of preschool last week. Her actual first day was supposed to be Tuesday, but due to a power outage at the school (from the big storms that came through from Lee), school was closed. So when we pulled up and were the only car in the parking lot, we got the picture and Caroline was in TEARS. On the way back home she said, “I even took at first day of school picture and everything!!” When we got home our neighbor Mr. Ray was out with his dog, so they played with Max awhile and then our neighbor, Bella came over to play. Thank goodness for good neighbors!
Thursday she was ready! She had a wonderful time and LOVES her teacher. She is also so excited to have two sweet friends from church in her class this year. Yesterday, she insisted on bringing her teacher a mint she saved for her from Chick Fil A and a picture that she stamped for her. Kissing up at such a young age!! Caroline reported back that her teacher was so very pleased with her artwork and loves those mints:) She is also taking Briarwood Ballet at school this year. What a blessing! Now I don’t have to drag Clark along each week to ballet. They also dress them, another huge blessing!! She loves it, but misses her CDF teachers.
Clark didn’t really know what was going on, he just wanted to ride his bike around the house. I think he is ready for a little break. We are officially ‘croc-free.’ These are her new school shoes, she gave her crocs to Mr. Tommy at Monkey Toes and told him to give them to some other little girl. So glad to see her in something new!
