The start of summer

You may have noticed Caroline is bow less. I was fixing her hair the other morning and like always I was about to put the bow in and Caroline said 'no bow, mommy!'. I told her they look pretty. Her sweet reply was 'God made me pretty just the way I am.'. Can't argue with that, so back the bow went to the bow board. Love her!

School is out, the ice cream truck is making its rounds and our neighbor Cathy treated Greyson, Bella, and Caroline to some ice cream. Can you tell Caroline is super excited? It was her first time to get ice cream from the truck...ever! Thank goodness for sweet neighbors! This mama rarely has cash.

A big thank you to my in laws for keeping and loving on our babies while we celebrated our anniversary. Here are some pics of the kiddos with Mimi at Moo Fest. Clark also went down their water slide (no pic, just video) for the first time, too! It was hard to convince them to get out of the pool and come back to Birmingham with us!


We celebrated our 11th anniversary at The Bluff View Inn in Chattanooga. Such a beautiful place and what a cool, family friendly downtown! Awesome restaurants, beautiful scenery, pedestrian friendly, river, mountains, southern hospitality, what's not to love?! So thankful we were able to have a little getaway. Even more thankful for my wonderful husband, love you Josh!!
