Caroline loves marveling at seashells. We have a small collection that I inherited from my grandparents that I keep displayed in our living room. She regularly will ask me to get them down for her to admire. Last year after we got home from the beach we researched the shells that we found, to see what kind of animals lived in it, etc..she was fascinated. While she was looking at them the other day, she just looked at me and said ‘Isn’t it amazing, that God made all these homes soooo tiny and sooo beautiful?!’ This girl continues to convict us daily, my prayer is that she will remain in Him. This weeks lessons: 1) People are more important that things, Dad! 2) You know what is more important than being cute? What Caroline? God. 3) Clark, you have to be thankful for what you have, little buddy! She keeps us laughing and thinking.
JuJu and Papa Eric came to visit. It was rainy to so we went to the McWane. The kids loved showing them around and eating at the Fish Market downtown. JuJu brought a few surprises for them and Caroline insisted on painting hers right away with JuJu’s help.
The other morning we dropped sis off at school and we headed to my favorite place to run, Jemison Park. It reminds me a bit of Tennessee, with the meandering creek and tall trees. On the way there we were close to the zoo, so on a whim I just decided to have a little zoo date with Clark. We had the best time together…riding the train and looking at any animal he chose. Love my little zoo date!
Is he ready for farm living or what?
