20 months

So I'm a little behind, Caroline is 20 months and a week and a half. She still keeps us laughing. We took some pictures of her last night just running around in the green space in our neighborhood. She loved having the wind in her hair. She is still highly curious, loves to sing, dance, read, paints, color, and play. She doesn't like when things are out of place and is constantly trying to put things in the trash or the dirty clothes. She is very into Madeline right now and will read her Madeline books over and over atleast 10 times each day. She points to all the pictures and really tries to tell the stories herself. She tries to say 'bonjour' and clearly says 'oui, oui' and a few other French words. She definitely knows when I'm speaking English vs French, she prefers English, ha! Her Mimi bought her some Madeline DVDs and she asks to watch them and tries to put them in the DVD player herself. She sings the theme song, too...very cute! She is definitely trying our patience from time to time with her new favorite word being 'mine.' Sharing is not her forte, but we have seen some glimmers of hope and kindness. She is very polite and loves to say 'thanks' and 'yes ma'am.' She is still very sweet loves to hug, give kisses, and cuddle. She is increasing her vocabulary daily and amazes me at the words she will use and use correctly. She is a little sponge and understands a lot more than she can communicate right now.

New favorite activity: twirling around like a ballerina, so cute!
