March

Blogging is on the backburner right now.  My computer is old and slow, my phone is fast and instagram is easy to use.  Yet, I don’t want to abandon the blog, because it is one of the only ways I document childhood for the kids.  This months highlights are Clark potty trained himself.  He has done really well.  We took a trip to Atlanta to the aquarium, the dolphin show was amazing!  Egg hunting is still big around here and we have another egg hunt in about 30 minutes.  I’m posting a few from today’s neighborhood hunt and our church hunt.

Oh these two!!  Love each other 99% of the time and are the best of friends.

Clark is getting to be a big boy and while we never experienced the ‘terrible twos’ with him, lately I’ve seen glimpses of possible ‘terrible threes.’  He is getting less compliant and more boisterous.

Caroline no longer wants to be a mermaid (after several older girls told her it isn’t a ‘real profession’).  So now she wants to be a baby doctor, but only for kids 3 and under.  So she’s practicing her beside manner on Clark._DSC0718_DSC0722_DSC0723_DSC0733_DSC0744_DSC0747_DSC0753_DSC0759_DSC0773_DSC0780We took at little day trip to the Atlanta Aquarium and it was amazing.  Love seeing God’s creativity in all the sea creatures.  The kids really loved the dolphin show._DSC0789_DSC0807_DSC0808

Friends, egg hunt, bouncy houses, and basketball!  The kids didn’t mind moving the Fusion Easter egg hunt inside one bit._DSC0810_DSC0824_DSC0841_DSC0847_DSC0849_DSC0851_DSC0852_DSC0859_DSC0863_DSC0866_DSC0875

Earlier today we had our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.  Several were missing due to Spring Break and being out of town for Easter.  We still had a great turn out and lots of fun._DSC0879_DSC0888_DSC0894_DSC0897_DSC0898_DSC0900_DSC0901_DSC0906_DSC0914_DSC0916_DSC0922_DSC0926_DSC0928_DSC0930_DSC0942_DSC0956_DSC0966_DSC0967Clark’s new thing is racing ‘really, really’ fast in his new tennis shoes like Daddy.  Caroline got her first pair of tennis shoes, too.  She is loving them and even learned to tie them all by herself.  Josh is a very patient teacher.  Yesterday, we went on a jog around the neighborhood and the one beside us, upon her request (Clark rode his balance bike).  She needs to work on her pacing, but is a great runner.  It may just be her thing or maybe high jumping??!!_DSC0971_DSC0992Clark obviously wanted me to take his picture, too!_DSC1002

Growing right up, she has her challenging moments FOR SURE, but is also sweet as can be.  So blessed to have Clark and Caroline in our lives.
