Hale Family Beach Trip 2013

Last week was the annual Hale Family Beach Trip, we went to Carillon Beach and stayed at the Caribbean Dreamin' house.  Despite having double red flags most days, the kids (dads) enjoyed building an enormous sandcastle, finding seashells, and swimming at the pool.  We also celebrated Mimi's birthday while we were there, they kids loved the cake and the opportunity to celebrate with her.  Most of my pics were on my phone, but here are a few I took with my actual camera.

After dinner at La Cocina we headed over to Rosemary for some dessert at the Sugar Shak.right before the downpour!

The kids have an ongoing joke…they call Mimi "Mamaw"…they are trying to convert Caroline and Clark, but they are firm on Mimi like the rest of the family.

Our last night we ate at George's one of our favorites.  These two enjoyed hanging out on a lily pad while we waited for our food.  Once again, Clark is doing a photobomb.

 

Then we headed over to Alys Beach to play a bit.  The kids LOVE this playground.
