It has been the tradition for the past three years for one of the pregnant mommas to host the hunt. This year, Kelley Brown hosted at her beautiful home. We are so very thankful for this wonderful group of moms and kiddos. They are truly a blessing in our lives and we thank God for them. Oh and it was such a fun way to celebrate my birthday.
Here is a glimpse of the day in pictures and the wonderment of childhood:
Love children…all amazed by a bug!
Sweet friend, Carter who innocently invited Caroline to come over for a sleep-over so that his mommy could read them his God’s Warrior Devotional book before bed. Caroline said sure, and I’ll bring my Princess one! Maybe we could do dinner instead?
Future golfing buddies? Larkin and Clark or Clarkin Larkin as Caroline likes to call them!
Clark says….You want me to do what? Pick up more eggs? When are you going to learn to stop dropping eggs everywhere?
Clark may not have been that into it, but these kiddos were!
Caroline found a blue egg and ran as fast as her toes could carry her to give it to Clark. Shouting, I found a blue one for you, Clark!!
He tried just running around for awhile…
Finally he discovered the lawnmower and was very serious about his ‘work.’ Luke tried to trade his large stick for the mower, Clark didn’t quite think it was a fair trade.
The girls in their bright pink hair accessories checking out all their loot.
So you may be wondering, ‘how much fun is peek-a-boo?’
obviously very entertaining…
fun day with sweet friends
