Cousin time

Aunt Heather came to Birmingham for her CEUs at UAB and brought a few of our favorite people with her.  I can’t really say who was more excited to see the cousins (& Mimi), me or Caroline and Clark.  They have been asking me everyday for two weeks when Dawson is coming, then Nolan surprised us with his presence, too.  He decided to skip out on his soccer game to come all the way to Alabama to spend a little time with his cousins.  We are so glad.  We spent the day introducing our cousins to our zoo.  Picture perfect weather and lots of quality time.  Of course, they were sad to see them go.  Caroline really wants all of her family to move onto our street.  She’s got a plan to make it happen.  She loves her family!  Clark loves being one of the guys!  So thankful for a beautiful day to enjoy with family!

The Sea Lion show made everyone smile.  So cute, highly recommend!  One of my former students was the MC, so fun to see former students all grown up!  Makes me feel old and proud of them!The poor, unsuspecting camel didn’t know what was about to come his way!Caroline has been wanting to ride the camel for years!!  I always tell her maybe another day, maybe when dad’s with you.  But today riding the camel with two of her cousins absolutely had her day!
