Thanksgiving potluck

It's almost thanksgiving... One thing we are thankful of is this beautiful autumn weather. It was so nice outside today that after Kindermusik, I threw Caroline in the BOB and away we went to eat a salad (pregnancy craving) at Jason's deli. She is still working on her colors so during our stroll, she was trying to call out all the colored leaves...there were even some pink and white ones according to Miss C (one more thing to work on w/her).

Yesterday, we had our Thanksgiving potluck. Last year I was terrified that Caroline would eat something with an egg in it, how much has changed in a year! The food was once again marvelous!! I wanted to make my grandmother's famous dressing, but did not have time to make homemade biscuits and cornbread. So I opted for a cranberry salad instead, it was pretty yummy. Caroline had so much fun playing with Hayley. It was rather odd, there were only 2 boys and 7 girls. This is a rare thing for us, considering most of our friends have boys. We are very thankful for sweet friends, too! Here are a few pics:

Caroline LOVED the pumpkin muffins that Beth made (notice she has two in her hands). They sounded easy...one box of spiced cake mix, one 15 oz can of pumpkin, and 3/4 cup of water. They were moist, delicious, and Caroline probably ate atleast 4!
